Community gardens ARE wonderful assets for a community.  Consider reserving a plot NOW for next year's growing season. Be apart of a "Growing" trend!

Would you like to grow your own fresh produce or flower gardens, but feel you don't have enough space or time?  The GVR Metropolitan District started a community garden in 2009 within the open space at the 4000 Argonne Street location (neighboring the Marrama Elementary School) which presents you the perfect opportunity!

Call 303-307-3240 today and speak with Dee, or email her at assistant@gvrmetrodistrict.com with your contact information and we can get in touch with you right away and make this a great community amenity and program!

Please see the article below for great information on several research studies that help show the benefits of a community garden for a place like Green Valley Ranch!

How to find the Community Garden

Click on the map below for the most recent visual of how the Community Garden has been set up and which plots are still available.  The large plots are 24' by 24', medium plots are 10' by 24' and the small plots are 10' by 10'.  Rental charges will be as follows:  $50 per large plot, $30 per medium plot, and $20 per small plot.  Since this garden will be subsidized by the GVR Metro District, anyone living outside the District boundaries who do not pay property taxes to the District will be charged an additional $10 non-district fee.
