Our programs are managed by a caring staff; camp is located at a convenient location in the community; the cost is one of the best deals in town; and the hours are not only long, but the BEST IN TOWN!
We strive to have a moderate student to faculty ratio to maximize educational opportunities and to facilitate learning. We work to create a camp environment that is most enjoyable for the participants.
The GVR Metropolitan District Community Recreation Program offers a variety of programs and classes to meet your needs. Please choose from the menu below to view your options:

Join the local "Fifty Plus Club". They meet the first Saturday of every month at 9:00 a.m. Location is the GVR Golf Course's Eagle Nest (4900 Himalaya, Denver, CO 80249) If you wish to attend, please call the Smiths at 303-373-5629.
AARP CHAPTER coming to Far NE Metro Area. Anyone over 50 years of age is invited to join this local chapter which is opened to Green Valley Ranch, Parkfield, Gateway, Montbello and North Aurora residents. If you are interested, please call Elaine Smith at 303-373-5629.
Are you a handyman that wants to volunteer for your community and help out those in need? The GVR Metropolitan District is working with the Citizen's Advisory Board (CAB) and the local chapter of AARP to create a volunteer handy man program within the immediate Far Northeast community to help local seniors and others in need with small/simple projects around the house. If you are interested in getting involved in such a program, please contact the District Office at 303-307-3240
